System Configuration? Never been so simple
A smart system that provides simplicity, control, and comfort.
Every installation is a promise to the customer: simplicity, control, and comfort. With KISS and a MEVO Heat Pump, this promise is realized. The system is configured in just a few steps via WebApp, without complicated tools. The intuitive interface, effective after-sales support, and immediate integration with other modules make KISS a smart solution, perfect for today’s market.
The start-up: few touches, lots of substance
As soon as the thermal power station is switched on, we connect the device to the network. With our technician access, we enter the installer menu of the configurator. No software to download, no complicated installation: everything is done via the browser.
The wizard starts immediately, asking us the right questions step by step:
- How many zones do we want to manage?
- Are they direct, mixed, or both?
- How should the machine behave depending on the outside temperature?
Each option is clear, with a simple description and, above all, with settings already recommended. The system accompanies us, not hinders us. If we are not sure about a parameter, we can keep it as default and change it later.
Two zones, two logics
In this case, the house is divided into two zones: day and night. During configuration, the wizard allows us to associate to each zone
- minimum and maximum temperatures
- on and off times
- control logic (climatic or fixed)
- customisable climate curves
All in a simple interface, where one click defines the choice.
For example, the daytime zone, which is more lived in, has been programmed to be active from 6:00 to 21:00. The night zone, on the other hand, is only in the early morning and evening. Thanks to the independent climate compensation per zone, if the outside temperature suddenly rises, the system adjusts itself without waste.
DHW production: only when needed
Another key point: DHW production. Here too, the wizard asks us
- whether to activate a continuous cycle or by time slots
- whether to use a temperature delta as an activation threshold
- whether to activate a supporting heating element
In this specific case, we have chosen to set well-defined time slots, avoiding unnecessary night starts. The activation of the heater only takes place below a critical temperature threshold, saving energy but always guaranteeing comfort.
The customer will not have to touch anything: the system will take care of everything, every day, automatically.
TH Home: comfort under control
We completed the installation with two TH Home modules, one per zone. The wizard guided us through this phase as well:
- assigning the sensor to the zone
- choosing between room function or machine terminal
- verifying communication
A configuration that, done manually, would require attention and patience. With KISS and its wizard, on the other hand, only three screens are required. From then on, temperature and humidity are precisely monitored, helping to further stabilize the perceived comfort in each room.
All set to grow
One of the aspects we like best about the KISS system is its modularity. Although today we have only activated two zones and one heating element, the system is already prepared for
- cascade management of up to 4 units
- control of diverter valves
- relays with 0-10V mixed valves
- integration with the AIER module
The wizard allows you to preconfigure devices that have not yet been installed or leave them inactive pending future installation. An option that greatly simplifies any subsequent work: no system restructuring, just updating the setup.
Monitoring and control: even remotely
Once configuration is complete, the system is immediately operational. The customer can already use the user WebApp, where he/she will view
- zone status
- times and temperatures
- consumption history (up to 13 months)
- DHW production
We can remotely monitor the correct operation, report any anomalies, or propose optimizations based on real data. A system that talks, that lets itself be guided, and that—when needed—alerts.
Conclusion: real, authentic simplicity
Those who work in the field know: every minute counts. A system, no matter how advanced, becomes a problem if it is complicated to configure. With KISS and its wizard, the work is quick and precise, and the customer receives an optimized system without unnecessary complications.
